The 1983 U.S. Clay Court Championships (also known as the 1983 U.S. Open Clay Courts) was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts in Indianapolis Indiana in the United States that was part of the 1983 Virginia Slims World Championship Series. The tournament was held from August 1 through August 7 1983.
