The 1982 Seattle Seahawks season was the team’s seventh season with the National Football League. Head coach Jack Patera was fired after the first two games of the season which were followed by a 57-day players strike. Mike McCormack coached the Seahawks after the strike for the last seven games of the strike-shortened season.
