The 1965 Richmond Spiders football team represented the University of Richmond in the 1965 NCAA football season. The Spiders were led by 15th year head coach Ed Merrick and played their home games at City Stadium. They were members of the Southern Conference. The 1965 campaign marked Merrick’s final year as head coach after Richmond finished with a winless 0–10 (0–6 SoCon) record.
