19496 Josephbarone (1998 KC32) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on May 22 1998 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro. It is named for Joseph Barone (b. 1985) an awardee at the 2003 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. Joseph Barone attended West Islip High School in West Islip New York.
