The 1931 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the 1931 college football season. The head coach was former Michigan star 32-year-old Harry Kipke in his third season as head coach. The team compiled a record of 8–1–1 (5–1). They finished tied for the Big Ten Conference championship.
