1919 Clemence (1971 SA) is an inner main-belt asteroid discovered on September 16 1971 by Gibson J. and Carlos Ulrrico Cesco at El Leoncito. It is named for American astronomer Gerald Maurice Clemence. Photometric measurements of the asteroid made in 2005 at the Palmer Divide Observatory showed a light curve with a period of 68.5 ± 0.1 hours and a brightness variation of 0.60 ± 0.03 in magnitude.
