1850 Kohoutek (1942 EN) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 23 1942 by K. Reinmuth at Heidelberg. Since the discovery was on march 23 the designation EN is erroneous. It should have been F but the incorrect designation which was initially used has stuck.
