17961 Mariagorodnitsky (1999 JB37) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on May 10 1999 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.This and 19 other asteroids were named after winners in the 2003 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair the largest pre-college scientific research event in the world.
