1749 Telamon is a Jupiter Trojan asteroid that orbits in the L4 Lagrangian point of the Sun-Jupiter system in the Greek Camp of Trojan asteroids. It was named after the Greek hero Telamon. It was discovered by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth on September 29 1949 in Heidelberg Germany.Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1995 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 11.187 ± 0.008 hours with a brightness variation of 0.10 ± 0.01 magnitude.
