17446 Mopaku (provisional designation: 1990 BC2) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by R. Rajamohan at the Vainu Bappu Observatory in Kavalur India on January 23 1990. It was named after three assistants at the observatory: Venkatachalam Moorthy Arvind Paranjpye and Kamatchiappan Kuppuswamy.
