17280 Shelly (2000 LK28) is a main-belt asteroid. It was discovered by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station on June 6 2000. It is named for Frank Shelly a moving objects software developer who has coordinated operations at the Socorro New Mexico LINEAR site.
