16107 Chanmugam (1999 WQ2) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on November 27 1999 by W. Cooney at the Highland Road Park Observatory in Baton Rouge Louisiana. This asteroid is named after Ganesar Chanmugam.MPC Citation: Ganesar Chanmugam (1939-1996) was a superb teacher and cherished colleague of the physics and astronomy faculty at Louisiana State University.
