15294 Underwood (1991 VD5) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on November 7 1991 by C. S. Shoemaker and D. H. Levy at Palomar Observatory. Named in honor of building plans examiner Lynn Underwoor (b. 1949) of Vail Arizona. Underwood has completed successful and innovative designs on two major extensions to the Jarnac Observatory thus enabling it to redouble its observations and join in an expanded public observing program with Dean Koenig and Starizona.
