15149 Loufaix (provisional designation: 2000 EZ141) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered through the Catalina Sky Survey on March 2 2000. It is named for Louis (Lou) Faix a mechanical engineer and long-time amateur astronomer in Detroit Michigan and Tucson Arizona. He pioneered the use of a cold camera for amateur astrophotography and found success in fighting periodic error in clock drives of the time.
