14627 Emilkowalski (1998 VA) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on November 7 1998 by Richard A. Kowalski at Quail Hollow Observatory. This asteroid is believed to result from the collisional destruction of a larger parent body approximately 220000 years ago. It was named after the discover’s father.
