142084 Jamesdaniel (2002 QU47) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on August 29 2002 by James Whitney Young at the Table Mountain Observatory near Wrightwood California.Named for the combination of the two first names of James and Daniel two sons of the discoverer’s friends Bob and Hazel Sealy of Seaside Oregon. The Sealy family was partly instrumental in the discoverer’s early astronomical career.
