13248 Fornasier (1998 MT37) is a main-belt asteroid. It was discovered by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station on June 24 1998. E. Dotto and M. A. Barucci suggested naming the asteroid for Sonia Fornasier an Italian astronomer who works on the physical properties of cisjovian and trans-Neptunian objects.
