13214 Chirikov (provisional designation: 1997 JJ16) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory in Chile on May 3 1997. It is named after Aleksei Chirikov an 18th-century Russian navigator who was part of the Great Northern Expedition.
