12-Dimethylcyclopropane is a cycloalkane consisting of a cyclopropane ring and two methyl groups. It has three geometric isomers: two (E-) and one (Z-) depending on the position of its two methyl groups. As with other cyclopropanes ring tension results in a relatively unstable compound.
