117712 Podmaniczky (provisional designation: 2005 GD) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Krisztián Sárneczky at the Piszkéstető Station in the Mátra mountains of Hungary on April 1 2005. It is named after Baron Géza Podmaniczky a Hungarian landowner and amateur astronomer of the 19th and 20th centuries.
