11572 Schindler (1993 RM7) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 15 1993 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory. According to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory database the asteroid was named after Oskar Schindler whose actions during World War II were featured in Steven Spielberg’s film Schindler’s List.
