11378 Dauria is a main belt asteroid. Discovered on September 17th 1998 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search (LONEOS) at the Anderson Mesa Station it was originally designated 1998 SV60. It was renamed for Florida amateur astronomer Tippy D’Auria (born 1935) the founder of the Winter Star Party. For many years he has worked to encourage both beginning and advanced sky-watchers in the hobby.
