11264 Claudiomaccone is a main belt asteroid orbiting the Sun. It was discovered in 1979 by Nikolai Chernykh and is named after the Italian astronomer Claudio Maccone.Claudiomaccone comes closer to Mars than to the other planets sometimes drawing within 70 Gm (0.47 AU) of the Red Planet. In 2096 it makes a very rare approach to 65 Gm.
