1104 Syringa (1928 XA) is a Main-belt asteroid. It was discovered by Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Landessternwarte Heidelberg-Königstuhl in Heidelberg Germany on December 9 1928. It was named after Syringa (Lilac) the genus of flowering woody plants in the olive family (Oleaceae).
