Đặng Thu Thảo is a beauty pageant contestant fromBac Lieu Vietnam. She was crowned Miss Vietnam 2012 in Da Nang on August 25. Previously she was bestowed the title of Miss Mekong Delta 2012. She is currently enrolled at the University of Taydo Cantho.Born in a family of modest means she left her native Bạc Liêu to work in Cần Thơ to help pay for her tuition. Her parents were not able to attend the coronation ceremony since her mother had to take care of her ailing father.
