Érdi VSE is the women’s handball department of the Hungarian multi-sports club with the same name. They currently play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I the top level championship in Hungary after gained promotion in 2010 winning all but one of the matches in their Nemzeti Bajnokság I/B campaign that season. In 2011–12 the club played the third place playoffs but lose series 1–2 against Siófok KC. This fourth place gave anyway access to their the first European Cup the 2012–13 Women’s EHF Cup.
