Nenmara Vallanghy Vela (Malayalam: നെന്മാറ വല്ലങ്ങി വേല) is one of the most popular annual festival of kerala celebrated at Vallanghy Nellikulangara Bhagavathy temple in Nenmara Palakkad district.Nenmara and Vallanghy are two neighbouring villages in the district. In fact this festival is a competition between these two villages. During the celebration 30 caparisoned elephants line up in ritual magnificence under a decorated canopy.
