The Logie for Most Popular Sports Program is an award presented annually at the Australian TV Week Logie Awards. The award was first presented at the 29th Annual TV Week Logie Awards held in 1987 when it was originally called Most Popular Sports Coverage. It is given to recognise an ongoing Australian sports program where the general theme of the show is sport with the emphasis on commentary and highlights. The award was eliminated in 1999 but was reintroduced in 2000.
