Isoxaben (N-[3-(1-ethyl-1-methylpropyl)-12-oxazol-5-yl]-26-dimethoxybenzamide) is an herbicide from the benzamide family intended for use in vineyards and tree nut orchards for the preemergence control of broadleaf weeds. As of 2009 its federal registration for this use was still pending.
