Angidi Verriah Chettiar (அங்கிடி செட்டியார்) (29 April 1928 – 15 September 2010) was a Mauritian politician who served as the Vice President of Mauritius from August 2007 until his death in September 2010. Angidi Chettiar was born in Madurai in the State of Tamil Nadu And he belongs to Kannada Devanga Chettiar community . India and came to Mauritius at the age of 10. The Chettiar family is a family of traders.
